The Kitchen Drawer Cooking Class Registration & Transfer Policy

Cooking classes at The Kitchen Drawer are on a first-come basis. Payment MUST be made at the time of registration. Registration can be done in person at the store, by phone or via email. We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard.

At the time of registration, please provide your name, telephone number, address (both physical and email) as well as class date/title/fee. If paying by credit card via phone or email, please be prepared to provide credit card number, expiration date and security code.

REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS MUST BE MADE ONE (1) WEEK PRIOR TO CLASS TIME - NO EXCEPTIONS.

If you are unable to make the class time, you may send a substitute in your place or transfer your pre-paid fee to a future cooking class or store credit. NO REFUNDS are given at any time.

Due to the availability of ingredients, the chef may substitue recipes in class or because of time constraints not every recipe scheduled is prepared. We will make every effort to provide the class with written recipes, however some chefs cook straight from their head and heart. We strongly suggest that you bring a notebook or paper and pen to take your own notes during the class. Unless noted in the class description, food cannot be taken from our premises.

  BASICS OF BAKING FOR YOUNG CHEFS

THE SERIES FOR YOUNG CHEFS, AGES 8 - 13, INCORPORATING HANDS ON INSTRUCTION.  THE SERIES WILL FOCUS ON BASIC CULINARY SKILLS SUCH AS MEASURMENT, CULINARY TERMS AND THEIR APPLICATION, FOOD SAFETY, SAFE KITCHEN PRACTICES, AND PREPARATION OF RECIPES EACH DAY.  SERIES WILL RUN TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND THURSDAY FROM 9 - 11:15 A.M. CLASS IS LIMITED TO FOUR STUDENTS WITH LONGTIME EDUCATOR, CONNIE SUBLETTE, INSTRUCTING.  CLASS IS FOR THREE DAYS - MAY NOT SUBSTITUTE ANOTHER PERSON IN CASE OF ILLNESS; NO REFUNDS OR RAINCHECKS.
